Welcome back to Travel Hair, this week we will be exploring the beautiful islands of Greece, their culture and background. We will also be travelling through the fabulous and ancient Rome, with it’s many amazing sights and historical buildings.
So firstly, lets journey through the Greek Islands, it is known for it’s amazing food and amazingly hot weather. Let me just tell you two interesting facts about this mythological country: Firstly, about 7% of all marble produced in the world comes from Greece and secondly soldiers in ancient Greece wore up to 70 pounds of bronze armour….bet you didn’t know that.
This is a very sophisticated part of the world especially where your hair is concerned, it is very glam, very goddess chic! Plaits are very popular and can look so natural as a style, they are also great for sunny hot days. Chic braids are SO in right now, as they are versatile hairstyles that look good on us all, long hair or short. Now we know where the inspiration came from!
Perfect for the above could be the use of extensions, one to make the style look thicker and add more body overall to the plait, and more length if that’s the type of look your going for. The great thing about our extensions is that they are human hair which will just blend naturally with your own! What could be better than trying this out and just adding that little extra, go on…you deserve it!
Looking at Greece from a hairstyle view, it only makes sense to move onto the core of the infamous Roman Empire, where a lot of these trends began. Let’s now explore the wonderful Roman hairstyles and culture. Don’t you ever wonder what really fascinates people to travel here every year….we all know someone who has been here and I bet you have this on your list right? Well you definitely should if you don’t already and here’s why…..
Firstly there’s the picturesque Vatican City, it doesn’t get more breath-taking than this…..to see it in photos does not do it justice. It is definitely one of places you have to see and experience for yourself. But as well as the well known places in Rome, we also want to be looking the part right? This is Rome after all. Everyone is going for the bun effect now, and we must say we all seem to be loving it. As well as an easy style, it will keep styling time down to a minimal, meaning more time for adventure on your fun packed non stop holiday, which is just perfect.
Also tying your hair back in a pony tail or adding a cute bow is nice and quirky, also keeps your hair tidy. For the pony, a nice curl/wave for the mid-lengths and ends looks super cute.
