One of the most exciting and entertaining events of the year has come back around. Halloween is just on our doorstop, and we want it to be the most show-stopping, outrageous and fabulous party to date. Coming up with a Halloween costume can be a struggle, so we’ve helped combine some tips and tricks that will help you in your last-minute Halloween mayhem, or may just provide as a bit of inspiration if you’re stuck for ideas.
For Halloween 2017 we have a bit of something for all you ladies, the long haired, short haired, blonde, brunets, redheads, we guarantee that you will all be fully Halloween prepped by the end of this article.
I’m sure we all agree, the most awesome thing about Halloween is that you can be whatever on earth you want, there are no rules here, it really is the perfect time to go all out, and try something entirely wacky and different! You can dress up like a goth, Disney character, go girly or just plain weird, it’s all about experimenting here. So, throw your hair back and let your creativity take full reign!

First up for all the short haired girls. We know the struggle of having to come up with a style entirely different to your own, and let’s be honest we want to go all out here. However, we’ve got the perfect solution, throw on a fabulous wig, yes it really is that simple, wahlaa you’re practically set to go!
So why not go for a classic Disney look, morph into the mesmerising princess Jasmin, with her thick voluminous hair, a far cry from your own style. Or alternatively transform into a luscious looking Ariel, and apparently, we’ve been told, the mermaid look is ‘in’ for Halloween this year.

Now if your hoping to go for something slightly darker and gorier, you can draw inspiration from chilling characters like Morticia, a great look for Halloween, as is Lily Munster from the Munster’s, both powerful and intimidating characters. It’s a simple look to replicate and always has a slightly alluring and scary finish- It’s all about the straight jet-black hairstyle!
Tip: Part the hair precisely in the middle, and begin to straighten down, once complete, make sure to lather with hair spray or gel, to achieve that glossy slicked down finish.

Another option, is to become a strong feminine character, ready to kick some butt, the Power puff girls are a fun alternative, or you could go for something more modern, and become your very own harlequin for the day, by adding some simple add-ons and accessories.
Tip: Simply tie your hair into pigtails, add a hint of red and blue hair spray, and tie in some coloured ribbons. It’s the perfect last-minute look, that requires little effort but still looks pretty cool and edgy.

Now for those who have long hair, it would be great to switch things up and maybe try experimenting with shorter styled wigs. The power puff girls are a great last-minute alternative, tie your hair into pigtails, leaving yourself some long side bangs, or instead throw on a bob wig, and add a bow headband to the top of your head, you can make your very own headband, using some spare brightly coloured material.

Accessories are an alternative funky way to experiment during Halloween. The mythical forest look is very simple to recreate.
Tip: Using sticks and twigs, you can add in some confetti, and gel it into place or alternatively glue it to a spare head-band. Headbands are a great way to add little touches to your hair. Purchase some accessories to your liking, and glue them to a wire, you can choose absolutely anything, then all that’s left to do, is attach it to a headband.
Last but certainly not least, why not go extra ordinary this year, by adding in some glow in the dark hair dye to create an awesome awe-inspiring Halloween look, that is guaranteed to turn heads!
